CST Design is a company founded by Mr Christopher Trow. History..... Chris Trow left
university in 1998 with a degree in chemistry, torn between
pursuing a career in the chemical industry & taking a full time position
at A.C Roof Trusses, a roof truss manufacturing company who had employed
him part time since he was 16, the lure of a well paid job won out.
Working on all aspects of the roof truss manufacturing process held Chris
in good stead when he was offered a job as a trainee designer, Chris
became Truss Designer for AC Roof Trusses and worked here for 2 years. Chris then moved to Palgrave Brown Ltd's Avonmouth branch, where he worked on some very large projects for some of the country's largest developers and contractors including Bluestone Plc, Crest Nicholson and Barratt Homes to name a few. |
Chris's next move was
to Donaldson Timber Engineering's new Andover branch. where as a senior
designer he became even more involved in the industry and was personally
responsible for the branch's dealings with large customers such a Redrow,
Norwest Holst, Croudace Homes as well as individual builders. In 2004 Chris moved to Creative Estates which turned out
to be a move where he gained new skills within a small yet successful team.
Skills gained included metal web floor joist design, as well
as all aspects of timber frame construction including technical
development, design & manufacturing. To underline his commitment to the development of his his
skills in the timber frame industry Chris has been on several courses
including the NHER SAP assessors course, a course which has given him even
more understanding of the energy efficiency and eco credentials of timber
frame.

Chris made the successful move in forming his own company (a goal for his 30th year!) and now provides a comprehensive Technical Design Service within the Timber frame construction community. His ethos is to give an efficient service that over delivers time after time. Chris says; 'my workload comprises some contract clients who I have worked with for years but there is always time I can make available for new clients & work so if you have design needs please get in touch with us'
